Noodles Day 1

Miss Noodles as I call her is doing wonderfully, she is a perfect fit to our family. Our first night was really good. She whined for about 2 minutes and then that was it for the rest of the night. She slept in the laundry room where Izzys sleeps with the gate up like I do with Izzy. They slept on Izzy's bed together all night long. It was so cute, Izzy is growing quite attached to her already. There were also no accidents over night and actually we have not had a single one yet. She seems very smart and she is becoming more playful as you can see in the picture. That is her toy we bought her. Also today I went and bought a bigger bed since they are sleeping together because Izzy's is small. Rachel will finally see and find out about her tomorrow and I am sure she will be thrilled. Hopefully another good night and I will keep you updated on my little baby.

Our new addition to our family

Today we got a new addition to our family a fawn pug named Noodles. We got her from a breeder in Willoughby. She is 8 weeks and her birthday is Dec 3rd. Nik helped pick her out and he is so excited! Rachel doesn't know yet but she will find out Thursday she knows she is getting a surprise.

Nik new hair cut

Here is Nik's new buzz cut! He thinks he looks really tuff and was so excited that we did it. At first he did not want it cut but we explained how much easier it would be to take care of. I think he looks pretty cool!

Rachel's report card!

Rachel got her report card yesterday and did excellent. She got an A in composition and B's in everything else. She did really good way to go Rachel! She is going to start playing the recorder in music class it is a requirement so this weekend we are going to buy her one. Jason is going to take her to the music store to buy one. She has also been showing an interest in the piano and Jason is all excited and wants to teach her. I am fighting a cold and its really cold outside and theres a lot of snow, I have the winter blues and am ready for spring! I hate this weather!

Nik's karate test for green belt

Nik had his test for his green belt yesterday. He did very well.

Here are the kids today playing in the snow and their baby snowmen. They had a lot of fun but got cold quickly.

More pics from Birthday

Wednesday Nik has his belt test for karate he will be a green belt. Nik also is showing a interest in soccer so I am going to sign him up in April at the YMCA for an introduction for soccer to see if he likes it and if he does we will find a team for him. Rachel is doing good we will be getting her a little extra time when she has her week at Marks. So that will be nice and it won't seem so long in between. In March Rachel is going with her Dad to Arizona for a vacation during spring break. Rachel will get her report card this week and I am sure she will do get. Nik put some of his old DS games and he made 79.00. Rachel put her old barbies and barbie clothes and made 22.50. Not bad now they want to put all kinds of things on ebay to make money. They got they ebay bug!

Colins 1st Birthday plus a lot of snow

Today was Colins 1st Birthday party. It was at Chuckie Cheese, the kids had a lot of fun. We also got a lot of snow probably around 10 inches. Made for yucky driving and they did not keep up with the roads do it was yucky driving.

Nik's report card

Nik got his second report card yesterday and he did excellent! At Andrews Osborne they grade on a number system 4- excellent and so on. He received all 3 's and 4's. In Language Arts he got 3's. Math 3's and 4's. Science 3's and 4's. Social Studies 3's and 4's. His teacher said that he is a very bright boy and is progressing nicely. He has improved on taking time in his work and listening on the first time. Rachel will get hers next week. Nik in his second half of kindergarten is going to start focusing on reading in school. Nik also is getting his first adult tooth but the baby one is not loose yet.

Here is a video of Nik being goofy. He really needs to go back to school. He does not go back until Monday boy I am ready. Rachel is already back she started yesterday.
