Cookies and Pugs

 
 
 

Nik and Jason make a big cookie Saurday night. It was double chocolate and it was very good. Here is a picture if Izzy with a bandanna on. We put it on a couple days ago and he doesn't want it off. He loves it. He thinks he looks pretty cool.

Planting flowers

 

Over the weekend the kids and I planted some mums. So here is a picture of our work. They helped me dig the holes and water them after they were planted. Soon Grandma Spotz is coming she will be here Oct 4th for a month. We are all so excited!!! We are going to spend a weekend in Hocking Hills with her. It should be really nice the leaves will be changing colors at that time.

The good and the bad

Well no pictures to post. First we will start with Rachel. She is going over her friend Hannahs house after school today and then going to the Chardon High Football game. Its their homecoming game. I am sure she will have a lot of fun. The weather has been great here in the upper 70's to low 80's. No complaining there. She is doing good in school getting mostly A's and B's on her work.
Now for Nik. In school he is doing good. All his papers he brings home are good and I have gotten no bad reports from his teacher,conferences are next month so we will see. Though he did get in trouble for the first time on the school bus yesterday. He was not sitting down and jumping all over the seats. And he would not listen when the bus driver told him to stop. So when he got home yesterday the bus driver asked me to come here and he told me all of this. Nik got his DS lite taken away for a week. Nik has done sparring now in karate twice. He loves it the first time he was not sure because there were mostly older kids but the second time he loved it.

Yesterday Nik got his camo belt in karate. So this means he now gets to spar. His first class will be on Friday he is so excited!!! Suffering from a little bit of a cold today.Everyone else is doing good.

Andrews Osborne Academy

 
Here is Nik in his Andrews Osborne shirt. Friday was casual day. He seems to be doing really good in school and so is Rachel.This weekend we did a lot of cleaning around the house. Tues. Nik tests for his camo belt in karate then he will be able to spar! He is so excited.

On Monday we went to Curt's house for a picnic. All the kids played nice and had a lot of fun. They had this blow up water slide that the kids loved. You can see Nik sliding down it. Of course they now want one for our yard. That is Rachel holding Collin, Danielle's baby. Everyone is doing good in school. Nik said he rather be in school than at home all day, I am sure that will change when he is older. He did his swimming class yesterday and liked it. Rachel has a lot of work and she is getting stressed. She forgot a book yesterday that she needed to do some homework out of and was so upset with herself that she forgot. She reminds me of my sister. Rachel said she rather be at home than at school. Well have a nice week its gonna be a hot one here.

Who does Nik look like more

It looks like Nik looks like me but only by a little bit. I am going to do this for Rachel too I just need a picture if her dad.

Sparring gear

 

 

Yesterday Nik got his sparring gear for karate. On 9/11 he will be testing for his camo belt and will move up into another class and has to start sparring. Nik tried everything on when we got home from karate and decided to test it out on Jason. Let's just say Nik will be a force to reckon with. He is adjusting to school. His teacher called on Friday to let us know that Nik is doing great and making friends. Nik was the only new child in his class. In the other kindergarten class they have a couple new kids. On Thurs we have open houses for both kids schools so Jason and I will need to divide up our time.
