Snow Day

We did have a snow day Nik and Rachel both got off though Rachel spent it with her dad. Jason's work Lake Erie College even was closed too bad he was not home he would of got a day off. We probably got close to a foot of snow. Nikolaus was accepted to re enroll at Andrews Osborne Academy for next year. The only concern I have is the busing. They are moving to the Willoughby Campus and Painesville City and Riverside have not said if they will provide busing yet. If they don't that will be a problem because that is just too far to drive him everyday.They did say they can make arrangements for different transportation. We should know shortly. They are also having a stricter dress code. Polo shirts that are light blue, navy blue, white or red. Pants either have to be tan or navy blue. I guess it will make it easier for me to dress Nik. I am trying to plan Kimmy's shower we are looking at the end of July. I will see here this weekend. Next weekend my mom and Rachel are going down to PA to spend the night out there. Rachel is going with her dad during Easter to Arizona for a week so she will not be here for Easter. So we thought it would be nice if she visited Auntie Kim because who knows when she will she her again. Stay warm!

New table

This is our new table it came today. Everything looks so good, really happy with the way it all turned out.

Getting a lot of snow here. Maybe no school tomorrow. Nik has been bad in school the last 2 days, he is having a very hard time with Jason being gone. Whatever animal was in the crawlspace I think is out. So I boarded it up pretty good I hope. I went for physical yesterday and I might have carpal tunnel, need to where a brace on my right hand. It seems to help. Jason will be home Friday night I can't wait.

Something under the house!!!

Well there is some kind of animal under our house in our crawlspace. It bit a hole threw the board around the older part of the house and went under the crawlspace where it ended up in the new crawl space under our bedroom. So the last few nights we heard this scratching on the door to the crawlspace. Jason is gone so my brother hopefully will help me get it out. So tonight until its gone I am sleeping on the couches. Hey at least they are new. Jason is in Boston talked to him a little while ago. Above is our attempt at taking a picture to send Jason, Nik looks quite weird.

Cute Noodles

Here is Noodles in her cute new sweater it even has a hood. She is doing really good. Izzy and her are becoming close buddies and sleep together often. I think Izzy needed a companion.
Well Jason leaves Sunday afternoon for Boston. We are all sad and will miss him. But Nik and I have a busy week so I hope it goes by fast.

New couches

These are our new couches they look so nice and make a huge difference.

Beginning of the transformation

Here is the new color in the family room. We love it it brightens up the room and makes it look bigger and cheery.

We get the couches Tuesday. I can't wait they will look so nice with the new color. Our new table will come in a couple of weeks.

Next Sunday Jason leaves until Friday for training for work in Boston. It will just be just Nik and I. It will be a long week. We will miss Jason. Jason and I are going to Hocking Hills in April for a weekend without the kids! They will be staying with Grandma Rosie and Uncle Jimmy! Kimmy went to the doctor and they gave her a due date of Sept. 28th. She didn't really like her doctor so she is searching for a new one. She has a lot of morning sickness. I am in charge of her baby shower and I can't wait to plan it. We will probably have it at the end of July.

Happy Valentines Day!!

Nik's class had their Q and U wedding at school. It was very nice and the had dancing and cake and cookies and punch. This is the cake they had.

Nik with his brig smile at the reception. Everyone is doing good. We are getting new couches finally since our have been broken for months when Jason and Nik broke them by jumping on them. We got a black leather couch and loveseat and a new wood coffee table. The coffee table is on backorder and will come March 6th and the couches come next Tues. I am also painting the family room this weekend before the couches come a lighter color. It would of looked too dark with the brown walls and the new couches so I wanted to brighten it up. I will post pics when it is done.

One more good thing

Jason was officially made IT Director of Lake Erie College today. Yeah! Congratulations Jason I am so proud of you and knew you could do it.

Going to finally be a Aunt!

We found out that my sister Kim and Jay are going to have a baby! So Jason and I will finally be a Aunt and Uncle. Nikolaus will have his first cousin. Everyone is so happy and we can't wait to have a new little one in the family. She will get her official due date tomorrow but it should be in Sept, sometime.
Noodles is doing good she doesn't like this awful cold we are having and I don't blame her the high today was 9 degrees. The kids had no school today because of the snow and starting tonight we are supposed to get hit with 6-8 inches so maybe another day off, will see.

Noodles first week has been pretty good. Izzy and Noodles are getting along great, they are having fun playing together and they sleep together at night which helps so Noodles does not cry at night. She played with her brother next door a few times they named him Pugsley after their father. They are so cute playing together they like to give each other kisses. He is so much bigger than her he his going to be a big boy! I will have to take pics the next time they play together. Tomorrow night we are having or monthly game night with Uncle Jimmy.
