To all the doggies we lost this week

We lost 2 great dogs this week, Puggles and Taz. They both got hit by a car. Puggles was Noodles brother that lived next store. It was a very sad day when he died he was a great dog and will be missed. Then Taz is my dads dog and he got ran over too by a car he was chasing a rabbit and ran into the road.
Here is our swing it is so comfortable that I could probably fall asleep on it.
Here is our table and chair set.
Jason is coming back today from his second trip to Tennessee! Hopefully no more trips for awhile. Rachel only has four more days of school and she is done, Nik goes to the 11th. Then summer break begins and my freedom is no longer.

Swing set

Here is the swing set, the kids love it.
Nik and Noodles
Noodles enjoying her new freedom sunning herself. We are so happy that we did this, its great for the dogs and kids and we have the privacy that we have always wanted. I find myself going outside a lot more. We also got a table with an umbrella and chairs. And a three person swing that is so comfortable, last night when I let the dogs out I almost fell asleep on the swing. I will take some more pictures of that soon.

Beware this is gross!

Yesterday Nik was playing near a fire pit that Jimmy and Jason had made the night before which he was not supposed to be doing. And he tripped into it and this is what happened, I haven't seen him cry that bad in a long time. He couldn't even go to his last soccer match which we were supposed to go to shortly. There was no fire anymore but there was ash and rocks and it scrapped up his arm really bad! I can't even get all the ash out this is what it looked like after soaking in the bath tub.

Noodles will be fine!!!

We got the results today and Noodles will be fine. She has a reactive lymph node which is causing her GI tract to swell. So she probably had a bad reaction possibly to something she ate and we are to watch her for signs of vomiting or diarrhea. We also need to make sure she only eats dog food no people food. Thats the best news ever a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders!

Kids being silly and Noodles

Here is all our fence panels and post for our soon to be fence. Over the weekend Jason staked it all out and this weekend he is renting a auger and plans on making the holes. Jason left today for Boston for work and will be back Thursday night. Well see how Nik handles him being gone this time, last time was not so great.
Here is Rachel and Nik. Rachel got Nik to put on her dress and sweater. Doesn't he look cute! He really did not want his picture taken as you can see. The funny thing is when Jimmy and I were little I did the same thing to my brother. I would dress him up in my clothes and take pictures of it. I still have those pictures somewhere.
Here is Noodles and Izzy. Noodles is back form the vet she got spayed yesterday and some complications occurred and we found out some bad news. While they were operating on her they noticed her lymph nodes and gastrointestinal tract were swollen which of course is not normal. They said it might be cancer so they wanted to do a biopsy, which they did and we wont get the results back till end of week beginning of next week. They also said it could be some kind of allergic reaction to her food or maybe an infection. Other then that she seems fine. We are trying to think positive. She is our sweet little girl and I have bonded with her so much and so has the whole family really so is just the greatest dog and I hate to see that something is wrong with her. We have not told the kids because we are not sure what is wrong yet. After the vet talked to me yesterday and told me this when she went back to do the biopsy Noodles BP and heart rate dropped and they had to put an IV in her. Poor thing has been through hell. She is happy and playful as ever that's why I find it so hard to thing something is wrong with her. Keep your thoughts and prayers with Noodles and hope all turns out well.

Nik and Noodles

Nice picture of Noodles and Nik. Noodles is getting spayed on Monday. She is so tiny so its not a good idea to breed her. She probably only weighs 7-8 lbs. I don't see her weighing more than 10-11lbs. She is going to be a tiny girl, but we love her that way. She will always look like a puppy.

More of Rachels party

Rachel got a lot of nice gifts from her friends, she got webkins, a big tennis ball, a magic eight ball, a purse with lots of makeup and jewelry and lots of other nice things. All the girls and Nik had a good time and lucky we had nice weather. We painted pots and planted flowers in them for the girls to give to their moms for Mothers day. We played twister, painted each others nails, and
made smores. Happy Mothers Day!!Posted by Picasa

Mother's day breakfast with Nik

Here is dapper Nik in his tie and vest. Doesn't he look so cute. He was not to happy about wearing it, I told him after the breakfast he could take it off and change.
Nik and I after breakfast, we had muffins, fruit salad, and coffee. Nik made me a pretty place mat and I did the same for him it was a surprise.

This is the plate Nik made me with tons of hearts all over it. They sang lots of songs and then they had a video of all the classes baby pictures and pictures of them now set to music it was very nice.
