Put up Christmas tree

We put up our Christmas tree and decorated tonight. This is our new tree and it looks really good. Everyone back to school and work tomorrow.

Happy Thanksgiving

We had Thanksgiving at my mom's house. It was just my immediate family my mom, brother, and sister and us. It was very nice and my mom cooked an excellent meal. We recieved some snow overnight! Countdown to Christmas begins.

Nik's karate trophy

Here is pics of Nik's tournament, He did very well. This was the first time he sparred in a tournament and he kicked some butt! He was nervous because I think he knew what to expect this time. Here is Nik waiting in line to get called. He is him doing his form and the last pic is of me helping him get his sparring gear on.

I got a new cell phone yesterday! It comes with a camcorder that takes 15 second videos. So here is Nik being a goof last night. He is feeling much better as u can see. He went to Alex's b-day party this afternoon. The quality of the pictures on this phone is much better too, I will post one soon so you can see. I am sure everyone will like the videos I hope you enjoy!

The Croup!

Well poor Nik has the croup, they said he probably got it from someone it is contagious. He sounds and looks awful. They gave him a breathing treatment to open his airways and put him on 3 days of prednisone. The doctor said he should be much better by Saturday.

Nik is sick

This is Nik sick. Actually that was him feeling better after the medicine kicked in. He seems to have a respiratory infection, he lost his voice and he actually fell asleep this afternoon and when he woke up his temp was 101.7. I kept him home today and probably tomorrow too. Poor guy he can barely talk. We got our first bit of snow nothing accumulated. Though it sure is cold in the 30's. Hopefully he will be better soon he has a birthday party on Saturday for his best friend Alex. Next week he is testing for his 2nd camo belt and also on Saturday has a tournament for karate.

Rachel's report card

Rachel got her reoprt card. She got all A's and B's. She did really well. Grandma Spotz flew back to Alaska yesterday morning. The weather is getting much cooler maybe a little snow tomorrow they are saying. We have been all fighting this stomach bug. I finally feel better. I can't believe a couple more weeks and Thanksgiving is here. Time is flying by.

The kids got lots of candy. Though they only lasted about an hour and they had enough. It turns out Nik got sick last night in the middle of the night, throwing up etc. So he stayed home from school today. Here are some pictures of the pirate and the dead bride.
