Nik's report card etc.

Nik got his report card yesterday and also had conferences. He got all 3's and 4's which is great! He is excelling in math that is his strong subject. He is starting to read and recognizes all the words on the word wall. She said he will be ready for 1st grade. Nik has decided to play soccer so I signed him up for the Mentor Soccer Club it starts in April he is very excited. I am sure he will do well. The first season they play is mostly instructional to get them used to the game and the rules. He is going to continue karate which he is doing really well at. He did so good today his discipline was great and all his moves were very precise. He is testing next week for his green striped belt on Tuesday. And the week after Easter he is doing karate camp which is for one week from 9-12 he is very excited.
Rachel had an art awards ceremony on Tuesday for her school. She was nominated along with 3 other from her grade. They pick 3 people from each grade level. Rachel did not get an award for 1st or 2nd but she came in 3rd and her pictures were beautiful. She really has a talent and says she wants to be an art teacher when she grows up. Next Wednesday Rachel is leaving for Arizona for a week.
