Kids New Shelves

 

 

Jason put up the kids new shelves. Here they are showing them off. Nik already needs another one, he is running out of room for all his trophies.

After the tournament we visited Kim and Kian and Jay. It was only 20 minutes away from the tournament. We caught Kian in mid sneeze. He is getting so big. It was nice to see them even though it was only for a short time.

Karate tournament Pittsburgh PA

Today we went to a karate tournament in Pittsburgh PA. Nik did really well he got 1st place in sparring. We are so proud of him.

Pugs in the snow video

Here is a video of Nik and the dogs playing in the snow yesterday. We got about 13 inches yesterday on top of what we already have. Its starting to pile up its been a pretty snowy January. I had to re dig the tunnels for the dogs. In the video you will see a little of Noodles running around them. Izzy doesn't really care

Well another snow storm, I would say we got about a foot more of snow from last night to now. Here is Nik and the dogs playing in the snow. I had to redig the tunnels. Nik and Noodles had fun, but Izzy could care less about the snow. Noodles has an ear infection in both ears so she is on drops for her ears. Nik & Rachel had no school and my class got cancelled. Jason's work closed at one they cancelled the rest of the classes for the day and night and sent all the workers home.

Early Valetine's Day present

 

This is an early present from the kids to Jason and I for Valentine's Day. I have very creative kids. The did a wonderful job. Notice how everyone is in the shape of hearts even the animals.

Here are some pics from Nik's last wrestling meet of the season. He has learned a lot this year. He got his first bloody nose on Sunday. He will probably do it next year. So right now he is just doing karate until outdoor soccer starts in the spring. Spring is not soon enough.

Nik got his first pin in wrestling!!

Nik had his wrestling tournament match today and did excellent. He got his first pin and won the next match. He did excellent and we are so proud. He is starting to enjoy wrestling more and more that he is understanding it now. He is using his moves now. Wednesday Nik goes for his brown belt striped in karate.

We have about 1 foot right now. Our first big snow storm of the season. Kids having lots of fun in the snow. I had to shovel tunnels in the back for the dogs. Noodles was much braver than Izzy in the snow. Izzy sat there and shivered.

Nik won

 

Nik won 2 prizes at karate courtsey of Grandma Rosie. They have cards you pass out that are good for 1 month of free karate. You put your name on them and if someone turns them in you pick from the prize board at karate. So my mom passed out some of Nik's cards and someone turned one in. Nik was able to pick 2 numbers and he won a wave master punching bag and $10. He was very excited. Next week he has a test for his brown belt with black stripe. This weekend is his last indoor soccer game. Nik is doing great in soccer he scored 2 goals 2 weeks ago, his best yet. Everyones back in school and doing good. Rachel got a 101% on her science project.

Christmas 2008

Make a Smilebox scrapbook

We had a very nice Christmas even though we ended up with a few sick people. Rachel started to get sick Christmas Eve evening and Jason also started to feel a little under the weather. Rachel just has a nasty cold and is starting to feel better. Jimmy also ended up sick Christmas morning and spent most of the day in his bed, turns out he has strep. Christmas Eve was spent with my mom's side of the family and it was a very nice time. We had it at my Uncle Georgies this year for a change and it was nice lots of good food and it was nice to see everyone.
Christmas Day the kids got lots of nice gifts. Santa got Rachel an Ipod and digital camera and a new DS lite game, some clothes a pottery wheel among lots of other things. Nik got from Santa a new DS lite, DS lite game, among lots of other things. Jason got my a GPS system finally! I have been wanting one forever, with my petsitting it is a lifesaver. Its a really nice one it not only tells you what direction to turn and when it says the street names which is nice. Jason says most don't. So that really nice so you don't need to look at the screen constantly. We had a nice dinner at my moms and of course she out did herself. Grandma and Grandpa Comer came over and we had a nice time. Also Rachel got her fish aquarium with a siamese fighting fish from Uncle Jimmy. Hope you enjoy the scrapbook of Christmas pictures.
