Jason won outstanding employee of the year!

Jason won employee of the year! He received a nice bonus and a plaque. The bonus is going towards are new fence for the backyard. We are so proud!!

I am going to have a nephew!

Today we found out that Kim and Jay are going to have a little boy! We are very excited and can't wait for his arrival in Sept.

Nik was student of the week

Nik was student of the week in class and every day we had to do something special for the class. On Monday his karate instructors came in for show and tell and they let Nik break a real board. He was so excited! On Tuesday we painted ceramics which was a lot of fun and the kids did a nice job. Wednesday we brought in doughnuts for a yummy snack! Thursday we brought in Noodles for show and tell she was a big hit and all the kids though she was so cute. And today we are bringing in a pizza lunch and a cookie cake for lunch.
Rachel got nominated to be on the safety patrol next year. She is very excited! Not everyone gets chosen. Next week she is having a birthday party with her girlfriends at her dads house. And tonight she is having her first sleep over at her friends house for a birthday party. I will try to get a picture of Nik with his board later when he gets home.

Peter Rabbit Play

This is the face Nik gave us after the Peter Rabbit Play last Wednesday his class performed. He was Mr. McGregor. On stage he looked so uncomfortable and made the weirdest facial expressions. He was not happy. He did not want his picture taken as you can see. I don't think Nik is going to do anything on stage. When practicing for it he did really good and showed much enthusiasm, I do not know what happened, I guess a little stage fright.

At Old Mans cave there was actually a waterfall this time. Usually it is just a trickle or dried up. So this was the first time we saw it and it was very pretty.

We really liked the cabin this time when we went to Hocking Hills. It was very nice and clean and private. We will defiantly come back. We had a nice time, we did not want to leave. It was nice just having time to ourselves with out the kids. The first day was actually pretty warm and Saturday it rained in the afternoon into the evening so it prevented us from doing more hiking. We got in a little bit of hiking before the rain came. We went to a nice restaurant called the Sandstone in downtown Logan. The dogs had fun, Noodles is afraid of hills of any kind and would not walk on them so we had to carry her luckily she is small.

Happy Birthday to ME

Well yesterday was my 32nd birthday! We are getting old. My sis also turned 30! HA HA. I had a really nice birthday. I had a nice ice cream cake. And got lots of nice gifts. The best gift of all is going away this weekend well deserved and we can not wait.

Crazy Nik

Nik's first soccer pratice.

Nik did really good at soccer, he is starting to pick up the handling of the ball pretty good already.It was super cold and rainy not the most pleasant day for outdoor soccer. It is for 2 months and in the fall he can do it again if he likes. Next weekend Jason and I are going to Hocking Hills I can't wait.

Now Rachel has Strep

Monday I took Rachel to the doctor because I was positive she had strep and she did. Nik is better and back in school. Rachel stayed home yesterday and today pretty sure she will be going back tomorrow. Spring is trying to come flowers are starting to pop up and all the snow is finally melted. I have been trying to teach Noodles to walk she will do it only if she leads though. Only 18 days and Jason and I are going to Hocking Hills without the kids! Yeah. I am so excited this is our first trip without them in a long time. We are taking the doggies which will be fun .

Nik is sick Rachel is back

Rachel is back from Arizona. She had a fun time. Nik did karate camp this week. He had a lot of fun and found that he really likes extreme karate. He learned how to do cartwheels, round offs and which I was surprised he can do a front spring he was the only one in the class that could. Now Nik is sick with strep throat took him to the doctor today.

What a crazy boy! On Friday I took Noodles to the vet to get some puppy shots she recieved 2 shots. A couple hours later when Nik and I got home I noticed poor Noodles face was swollen you could hardly see her eyes and she had a hard time breathing. I called the vet and they said bring her in ASAP so I did. I guesss she had an allergic reaction to one of the shots and the gave her a shot to decrease the swelling and they kept her for few hours to make sure she was ok. Poor little Noodles. She is much better now. They will have to give her one shot at a time.

Easter

Nik and his Easter basket, got lots of goodies and got a pug webkin that he named fireball.

Nik on the Easter egg hunt he was the only kid this year. Easter was really nice we had it at my moms and all the food was great.

Rachel and Nik did Easter eggs last night because Rach is leaving today for Arizona with her dad so we decorated early.

They turned out great except notice that one is missing thats because Nik dropped one on the floor and it cracked. Rachel is excited about Arizona but nervous about flying but I am sure she will be fine.

Nik did really well on his karate test and passed with flying colors now he is a green striped belt.

Nik is getting so big!

Happy Nik! Doesn't he look so big? He is starting to fill out and is getting fatter in the face. He is up to 48" now. He went through a big growth spurt he weighs 54 lbs now.

She is doing very well. She is doing good with the potty training starting to stay dry all night long. She is 14 weeks. Her and Izzy get along great and are buddies. She is a momma's girl and is always by my side.
