Dannielle's house Christmas

Here are the pics from last night at Danielle's. I don't know why they came out blurry. Everyone had a good time and the food was great. The last picture is of all of us in our Lake Erie College t-shirts Jason brought home for us.

Christmas cookies

Last night we made Christmas cookies. Tonight we are going over Danielle's house and tomorrow is the Burkey Christmas. We are supposed to get a big snow storm starting later today so hopefully it does not mess up travel too much!

Put up Christmas tree

We put up our Christmas tree and decorated tonight. This is our new tree and it looks really good. Everyone back to school and work tomorrow.

Happy Thanksgiving

We had Thanksgiving at my mom's house. It was just my immediate family my mom, brother, and sister and us. It was very nice and my mom cooked an excellent meal. We recieved some snow overnight! Countdown to Christmas begins.

Nik's karate trophy

Here is pics of Nik's tournament, He did very well. This was the first time he sparred in a tournament and he kicked some butt! He was nervous because I think he knew what to expect this time. Here is Nik waiting in line to get called. He is him doing his form and the last pic is of me helping him get his sparring gear on.

Here is a video of both the kids. This is a picture of the kids with my new phone the quality is so much better. Tuesday Nik has his karate test and Saturday he has his tournament in Perry Ohio.

I got a new cell phone yesterday! It comes with a camcorder that takes 15 second videos. So here is Nik being a goof last night. He is feeling much better as u can see. He went to Alex's b-day party this afternoon. The quality of the pictures on this phone is much better too, I will post one soon so you can see. I am sure everyone will like the videos I hope you enjoy!

The Croup!

Well poor Nik has the croup, they said he probably got it from someone it is contagious. He sounds and looks awful. They gave him a breathing treatment to open his airways and put him on 3 days of prednisone. The doctor said he should be much better by Saturday.

Nik is sick

This is Nik sick. Actually that was him feeling better after the medicine kicked in. He seems to have a respiratory infection, he lost his voice and he actually fell asleep this afternoon and when he woke up his temp was 101.7. I kept him home today and probably tomorrow too. Poor guy he can barely talk. We got our first bit of snow nothing accumulated. Though it sure is cold in the 30's. Hopefully he will be better soon he has a birthday party on Saturday for his best friend Alex. Next week he is testing for his 2nd camo belt and also on Saturday has a tournament for karate.
